HOME PAGETHE MUNGER SCHOLARSHIP FUND GRANTS A NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR TO COLLEGE STUDENTS. THESE AWARDS ARE LIMITED TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND COLLEGE FRESHMAN. GRANTS ARE RESTRICTED TO RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNS OF GUILFORD, MADISON, AND CLINTON, CONNECTICUT. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WHO WILL ATTEND COLLEGES IN CONNECTICUT. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT SEVERAL AWARDS OF $5,000 EACH WILL BE MADE IN JULY 2012 TO STUDENTS WHO WILL ATTEND A COLLEGE LOCATED IN CONNECTICUT DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013. A complete application is required. Acceptance of applications closes at 9:00 a.m. on July 9, 2012. Reasons for the filing date are that the Trustees wish to know the college students will attend and the other financial aid which the students have received prior to making the Munger Scholarship Awards.
